Oh ancient Beatrijs, how i detest thee....but actually i rather detest the fact that you make me come to class as early as 8am tomorrow. You kinda look good, still, you sinner.

Update on Mario
I made it. It was insane (the whole 20/Hi shizzz). I had to fight 84 viruses (even if the plural form is just virus as well, there where so many, just totally insanely grammatically incorrect!)
The award-ceremony was bizarre. First i thought nothing would happen, it just said "congratulations" and posed information about the level. And then a UFO turned up above water, beaming the 3-different-coloured (black, white, grey) viruses (they just sat there ever since i started playing) up from the ground of the sea...BUT before they reach the UFO a giant ARAPAIMA ancient fish swimms in to eat them up/ devour them in one piece!! The UFO disappeares, the music is very shrill and suddenly there is fish of different kinds back in the ocean.
I had a teary and a smiling eye and very sweaty armpits. What can i say- saving the world is hard work!

24/7
I'd die for Dr. Mario right away. Managed every level there is so far but VIRUS: 20, SPEED: HI, MUSIC: CHILL. I am so excited which underwater animal will show up to my award ceremony after 20/HI= completed. 5/HI= a very slow blowfish. 10/HI= a sidewalking crab/cancer. 15/HI= a flying baracudaesk fish i almost ignored (above water.)

Versailles
I went there 2 weekends ago. It is really cheap and easy to get to Versailles from Paris. The first thing one notices when getting out of the trainstation though is a Starbucks on the other side of the street (it was funny how many people stated - with relief or joy?- "Oh, Starbucks!" "Let's go to Starbucks", "Look, a Starbucks"). Though it was sunday it was not completely touristy and crowded. Pictures from the bedrooms and gardens.

The Craft (1996)
I have no earthy word for this coming-of-age-story. Epic soundtrack, too. This film (though a lot of people would prefer to call it a movie) even made me buy The Beatles's Revolver, which i consider their best album.

Mrs. Congeniality
Prada Fall 2010 RTW looks very determinate. And hard work. And edgy instead of sexy blah blah.
It is supposed for women, I suppose.
Chapeau!

YSL Manifesto and Bag 2010

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I won! I WON! I won!
I actually am one of the first 100 people who were quick enough to participate online! I can't believe it. Let's hope they won't take too long shipping it to my island. Oh man.
Let's hope noone of the neighbors steals it...oh well...i am still lucky.
Here you can watch a video of the tote bag and compare to the other years:

Pretty Fly Oldschool

That is a very great coat or rather a cloak (by Lindsey Thornburg). It is very expensive (but the fabric seems to be very exclusive.) I bet one can find very similar ones on Ebay for less or at Humana or Oxfam. The time spent looking for something equal might be quite a lot, but then it is at least one-of-a-kind. Other than that it is more fun and fullfilling to make a cloak yourself out of a blanket or another fabric trouvé. If i start with it now, i might have a chance to still wear it the next months, for it is cold.

New II

Got this today and a similar golden skirt (gold pattern that resembles peacock feathers)and lots of cheap shirts, two mohair scarves, a very melancholic pillow that looks like an octopus and a 'gimmick' sore throat due to a limejuice i almost chung-a-luged at the mall. I was so thirsty. Running around a store always makes one terrible thirsty- which i almost forgot, since it was the first time going to a store in a long time (6 or 7 months?). The winter is just so cold and i never felt like buying anything for such a long time. I think i stick to this routine, buying something online from time to time and only going to a shop twice a year or so. That applies to bookshops, too, for one always finds more than what you were actually looking for(equals buying more shelves), or you end up only getting other books still feeling an emptyness because 'the one' was not to be found. Records can be bought at fleamarkets or garage-sales and tunes- everyone has them on their computers. 'Shopping' your very own closet is more fun and fullfilling, because somehow you never feel empty remembering your old 'friends'.
I don't care about the economy for the same reasons i don't pay taxes.
